Anas (Ajay) Ajaal

Also known as Ajay Ajaal and Anas Ajaal.

I turn messy enterprise problems into systems people actually ship.

Computer scientist by training with 12+ years across media, telecom, consulting, and travel: analytics, personalization, privacy, and practical AI workflows. Operator, not researcher. North star: technology that improves lives at scale.

A lot of tabs were open

Places and products I have worked with or across.

At Rogers Media I touched the full portfolio. The code, measurement and systems behind those household names reached 35 million people each month and handled billions of interactions.

The long version

A builder’s path across product, data, and platforms.

Each step solved a different class of problem: measurement, capability building, enterprise delivery, privacy aware platforms, then zero to one market creation.

01
Rogers Media · Data Analyst

Scale, measurement, and first party data.

Analytics and product measurement across the Rogers Media portfolio: sports, baseball, publishing, radio, news, and 70+ brands reaching ~35M monthly users.

  • Helped build Sportsnet video player analytics for advertising, engagement, and product insight.
  • Connected first party audience data to advertising and product decisions.
  • Supported analytics across a large multi brand digital estate at real consumer scale.
02
TELUS Digital · Tech Lead / JADE Founder

Built analytics capability inside the business.

Founded JADE (Junior Analytics Development Experience) so TELUS could grow Adobe and analytics talent in house instead of only buying it.

  • Rolled the model through 20+ departments: stores, call centres, apps, and web.
  • Programme produced 200+ graduates embedded in real delivery teams.
  • Presented the operating model to Adobe’s CEO during a TELUS visit.
03
Junior Mentorship · Founder & Consulting Lead

Enterprise delivery through a consulting practice.

Turned the mentorship idea into consulting and team augmentation across complex customer journey and data problems, including Adobe Consulting Services subcontracting.

  • Delivered for 9 enterprise clients across 7 industries and 3 continents.
  • Led through partnerships, consultants, and embedded delivery teams.
  • Firefought Adobe/Google stack and journey issues for clients such as BMO and Canada Post.
04
Charter / Spectrum · Data Platform Architect

Privacy aware personalization at platform scale.

Solo technical ownership for personalization, measurement, auditing, and CCPA workflows across Spectrum digital, serving ~80M Americans.

  • Built auditing used to safeguard customer data and map PII movement.
  • Connected Adobe, Tealium, Kafka, internal APIs, and customer systems.
  • Made personalization performance and privacy obligations easier to see.
05
IntoLibya · Founder & Product Builder

Zero to one travel product and market creation.

Built the missing digital and operating layer for Libya tourism: platform, agency, TourBuilder, content, visa support, suppliers, and local delivery.

  • Shipped the travel agency and TourBuilder product from scratch.
  • Supported Libya’s eVisa rollout and consulted on the first issued eVisa.
  • Enabled 100+ travellers while training local operators and opening new tourism income paths.

Things I built

The work I still talk about.

Not because it came with the fanciest title. Because it changed how people could work, learn or travel.

01Travel technology · actual travel

IntoLibya

A digital front door for a country most travellers could not make sense of online.

I built the website, TourBuilder, itinerary logic, eVisa support process, agency workflows, destination content and local delivery model. It has helped travellers experience Libya and given local operators new skills, customers and ways to earn.

Capability building

JADE at TELUS

Junior Analytics Development Experience

A training programme that put juniors into real teams, taught them to think like analysts and gave TELUS a practical way to grow hard-to-hire skills from within.

200+graduates across 20+ departments
AI as an operating layer

Useful AI, minus the theatre

I use AI across coding, research, tourism planning, content, document systems and business operations. There are too many workflows to count because AI is part of how I work, not a separate performance.

What I am useful for

Role-ready skill clusters, not a tool dump.

Selected from the career brain: product, enterprise data, practical AI, privacy, technical fluency, and founder execution.

Product & transformation

Turn ambiguous goals into roadmaps, requirements, and systems teams can ship and measure.

Enterprise data & analytics

Adobe Experience Cloud, first party data, tagging, experimentation, and activation across web and mobile.

Practical AI workflows

Applied AI for coding, research, content, planning, and human in the loop automation: operator, not researcher.

Privacy & governance

CCPA aware analytics, PII auditing, consent aware tracking, and delivery inside enterprise constraints.

Technical fluency

JavaScript, Python, SQL, React, Adobe, Tealium, GCP/Pub/Sub, Kafka style integration: enough code to stay honest.

Zero to one building

Founder led products, training models, and markets where the playbook does not exist yet.

The official bit

BSc Computer Science · First Class Honours

Teesside University · 2012-2015 · 4.0 GPA

My final-year project used machine learning and natural language processing for multi-document text summarisation. Apparently I have been trying to make too much information easier to understand for quite a while.

Outside the serious bits · 50+ countries

Slightly nerdy. Very well travelled. Easily distracted by an interesting business model.

I read technology and startup news for fun, which is probably the least surprising sentence on this page.

Football is the correct name for football. Lasagne is the correct answer to most food questions.

After 50+ countries, I still like meeting new people, trying new food and learning how places actually work beyond the brochure.

Say hello

Good conversations are usually a fine place to start.

Work, travel, data, Libya, AI, an oddly specific customer journey or a genuinely good lasagne recommendation. I am listening.
